Eminem's mother, Debbie Nelson, passed away a week ago. But now, the rapper has seemingly reacted to her death during his performance at the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix.

During his F1 performance, Eminem performed "Without Me," which notably includes the lyrics "F*** you, Debbie." When the rapper got up to the lyric, Page Six reports that while fans in the audience rapped along to the song, he "remained noticeably silent."

Aside from the lyric omission, Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, has yet to publicly comment on the loss of his mother. By stark contrast, his half brother, Nathan "Nate" Kane Mathers, shared that he had "hatred and mixed emotions" on his Instagram stories following Debbie's death.

Eminem and his mother had a rocky relationship, as noted by several of his songs over the years. In "Cleanin' Out My Closet," Mathers raps lyrics including, "Look at me now! I bet you're prolly sick of me now/ Ain't you, Mama? I'ma make you look so ridiculous now" and "But put yourself in my position, just try to envision/ Witnessin' your mama poppin' prescription pills in the kitchen." He also alluded to being a "victim of Münchausen's Syndrome," rapping, "My whole life I was made to believe I was sick when I wasn't."

Debbie lost her life due to complications related to lung cancer at the age of 69.
