50 Cent claims he once had to send Demetrius Flenory Jr. a.k.a. "Lil Meech" to rehab following an incident on the set of his hit TV show.
On Wednesday, February 19, the rapper-filmmaker spoke about his rift with Lil Meech and his father, Big Meech. Fif shared his thoughts on why his relationship with the father-son duo went sour in an Instagram post. He said their issues might have stemmed from his bond with Lil Meech. In his caption, the G-Unit founder referred to the "BMF" star as "MeMe" and claimed he had to step in when he allegedly experienced a drug-induced episode on set.
"I thought about it I think he was uncomfortable with me and MeMe’s relationship," 50 cent wrote. "I’m telling MeMe I don’t want him doing drugs. He telling him he use to do X like it’s cool. I tell meme chill stop spending all ya money, he telling him how much money he blew. people don’t know I had to send MeMe to rehab Russell Hornsby peeped he was high as f**k on set he started throwing up at a weapons test then Ian told me the little [ninja emojis] had whippets in his truck.I said what the f**k is whippets I look it’s the s**t that be in Bebe guns 🤦."
50 Cent wrote the caption under a clip from a past interview with bodyguard Gene Deal, who spoke about the ongoing beef between all three of them, to help make his point. As of this report, Lil Meech has not responded to 50 Cent's claims. The seasoned artist used to be cool with the Black Mafia Family co-founder even after he was released from prison last month. However, things changed at the top of February when Fif made a post that quoted lyrics from Rick Ross' "Blowin' Money Fast" with a rat emoji. 50 Cent also claimed there will be a "tell-all" documentary from a former BMF associate-turned-government informant Tammy Cowins.
He later added fuel to the fire by claiming Big Meech's Welcome Back Legacy Concert in Florida would face issues and even mentioned some of the performers who were set to hit the stage. The concert was canceled due to "unforeseen circumstances" according to the venue. Before the show was nixed, Big Meech addressed Fif's allegations in an Instagram post.
“I wasn’t gonna address this because I’m not trying to let nobody trick me off the streets," he said. "But I’ve never folded, never told — never will. Death before dishonor, always.”
