Fivio Foreign says he can't recall any of Nas' lyrics, even though both New York natives have worked together in the past.

The "City of Gods" rapper sat down with Jim Jones during the first episode of his new series called Artist 2 Artist. During their conversation, Fivio shared his opinion about Nas in a similar way Jones did with Fat Joe and Jadakiss on their podcast. The 35-year-old artist, who worked with Nasir on their collaboration "Spicy" with A$AP Ferg, said he doesn't consider the Mass Appeal co-founder a legend and couldn't recite any of Nas' lyrics.

“I’m not saying that the man is wack, he’s not a legend," Fivio explained. "I got a song with the n***a—I got a song on the album and the album got a Grammy. But I can’t sit there and say a Nas bar to you or a song.”

Fivio noted that he likes "One Mic" but couldn't name any other tracks from Nas' catalog. His opinion lines up with Jones' thoughts about the Queensbridge MC. Jim Jones stirred up controversy over the summer after he reacted to a fan who said he was more inspired by him than Nas. Jones said he admired Nas, but declared that he paved his own lane that kids gravitate to. His thoughts sparked numerous debates that pinned him against Nas.

“Man, I didn’t know how many people loved Nas," Jones told Angie Martinez about the discourse. "I’m watching people go absolutely bats**t crazy, like god***n. But that’s hip-hop. There’s people that I adored as a fan too that I’ll probably go bats**t crazy for in the same situation, I love it, that’s what the game was built on. Let’s not make no mistake, I put in a lot of work and I did a lot of incredible things that a lot of people have not gotten to do in this industry.”
