Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump, is being pitched to lead TikTok amid its recent proposed sale to a group of American investors.

Jake Advent, who had previously worked as the president's social media manager, believes the 19-year-old would be perfect in leading the social media platform once it's under new, American ownership.

“I’m hopeful President Trump will consider appointing his son Barron and maybe other young Americans to TikTok’s board to help ensure it remains an app young people want to keep using,” said Advent, who the elder Trump had nicknamed 'TikTok Jack,' via the Daily Mail.

Barron, 19, who reportedly residing at the White House and attending classes at the D.C. campus of New York University for his sophomore year, has been credited with helping his father reach a younger audience ahead of his 2024 presidential election victory. President Trump previously revealed that his teenage son was influential in him doing interviews on podcasts targeting a younger male demographic, which included appearances on the Joe Rogan Experience, This Past Weekend with Theo Von, Flagrant with comedian Andrew Schulz, Logan Paul's Impaulsive and Barstool Sports' Bussin' with the Boys.

First Lady Melania Trump also confirmed her son played a major role in his father's successful campaign during an appearance on FOX & Friends in December.

“He brought in so many young people. He knows his generation because nowadays the young generation, they don’t sit in front of TV anymore,” Melania said.

“They are all on the tablets, they are on the phones and all of these podcasts and streamers,” she added.

Barron was reportedly "very vocal" in giving "advice to his father," with his mother saying it was “incredible how he brought in success because he knew exactly who his father needs to contact and to talk to.”
